Our Community History

Country Club Cottages was established in 1998

Nestled in Cotton Ranch, the Country Club Cottages community is home to 25 homes/lots situated on the 18 hole Gypsum Creek Golf Course, a public course just 30 minutes West of Vail and 10 minutes away from the Eagle County Airport.

The purpose of the Country Club Cottages HOA:

The primary purpose of the CCC HOA is to provide the covenants and by-laws found on this website to homeowners when purchasing in the neighborhood. However, the Cotton Ranch is the primary HOA and responsible for enforcing the overarching covenants.

A secondary purpose is to maintain the .43 acre greenspace located at the center of the Cottages community. This maintenance includes watering and lawn and tree care from early spring through October. This space is privately owned by CCC HOA and is not a public park. Neighborhood access is from Cottage Drive only; however, no parking is available. The greenspace is the heart of the community and is the venue for CCC HOA picnics and BBQs.

Another purpose for the CCC HOA is to help maintain a sense of local community spirit; yearly meetings are conducted and all Country Club Cottage homeowners are invited to attend. Board members are elected on a three year term, and all community members are asked to volunteer and serve (see volunteer link).

HOA Governing Documents

There are a number of separate organizations that govern the community including the Cotton Ranch Metropolitan District, the Cotton Ranch HOA (Master Association) and Country Club Cottages Homeowners' Association, Inc.
